Dynamics GP includes some excellent integration tools, such as Integration Manager.
Web Services
Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM both have extensible web services throughout.
Web Services are an incredibly exciting and powerful development for systems in general, they make it so much easier and faster to develop integrations between systems, than previous generation methods such as batch import or direct to table.
Also Web Services enable real time integrations and can handle disconnected of connected modes. With Dynamics GP, Business logic from within the application can be applied to integration documents in real time.
We believe that the economics of using web-services for integrations are so compelling - that within 5 years, the bulk of business documents, such as orders and invoices will be exchanged as electronic XML format, instead of the highly inefficient, labour intensive, error prone, paper formats used today.
With web-services we can easily connect to existing EDI systems or middleware such as Biz-Talk.
