Attending the EMEA Convergence in Munich gave me the opportunity to see more than just the very latest offerings in the Microsoft business applications suite - it gave me an insight into the Microsoft development roadmap. The commitment of Microsoft to Dynamics was very apparent and seeing Bill Gates and other senior members of his management team speaking passionately about the future, and demonstrating Dynamics, was inspiring.

The opportunity to think strategically about our systems away from the pressure of the work environment was especially valuable, both in terms of software we already had and the potential of newer versions about to be launched. The numerous sessions I attended were extremely relevant and informative and gave me lots of ideas as to how we could improve our operations, plus an opportunity to help shape the future development of applications through the chalk and talk sessions. Just like the most senior members of the team, there was a real sense that the developers and product managers at the heart of the business cared passionately about the user experience, and about making their applications truly fit for purpose. Very worthwhile, very informative - and fun too!
