Moorfields signs with M4 Systems

M4 Systems partner with Hicom Technology to win contract to supply Microsoft Dynamics solution for Moorfields’ new eye hospital in Dubai

M4 Systems are delighted to announce that, in partnership with Hicom Technology, they have been awarded the contract to supply Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai with a fully integrated finance system based on Microsoft Dynamics GP.

London-based Moorfields Eye Hospital is the oldest and one of the largest specialist eye hospitals in the world. The Dubai branch, which is located in the Al Razi Medical Complex of Dubai Healthcare City, is its first overseas development project and will be the only dedicated eye hospital in the Emirates. H.R.H. Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and Heir to the British throne, officially inaugurated the hospital during his UAE visit on 28 February 2007. Moorfields currently treats a significant number of patients in the UK from the Middle East. By establishing a branch in Dubai, Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will be able to offer its services locally that will commence when it opens its doors to the public in May 2007. As well as being a commercial venture providing a range of ophthalmic services and underpinning Moorfields NHS services in the UK, the Dubai facility will support local healthcare through teaching and research

M4 Systems, Microsoft Gold Certified partner, recently teamed up with Hicom Technology, who are specialist IT providers in the healthcare sector. The two companies will work closely together on this project to ensure that the solution they supply is fully integrated and caters for specialised interfaces with medical equipment, patient care and records and other administrative functions.
