Microsoft Business Solutions Announces Great Plains 7.5 Enhancements Release

Reading - UK - 3 March 2004 - Microsoft Business Solutions today announced major enhancements to Microsoft Business Solutions Business - Great Plains 7.5 in the UK. The new additions to the Microsoft Great Plains Standard solution, including Business Portal 2.0 and Analytic Accounting, will help organisations extend their enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions further, providing the opportunity for greater business insight to all employees.

Support for Small Business Server - Small Business Server provides collaboration, databases, system management and Internet requirements with easy-to-deploy business management
Analytic Accounting - a flexible financial reporting tool specifically designed to meet UK and European requirements for multi-dimensional financial recording and reporting
Business Portal 2.0 - provides a single point of access and collaboration to all relevant business information, be it financial or group-orientated
Demand Planner - advanced demand planning and modelling tool with cross and inter-company collaboration capabilities, using the Microsoft user interface
FRx 6.7 - a web-based budgeting and reporting application designed for mid-market users
FRx Forecaster 6.7 - a web-based financial planning and forecasting application
eConnect - a customisation and integration tool which has been repackaged to make it more cost-effective for companies to implement, which is now available with the Microsoft Great Plains Standard edition
