Case Study - Crime Stoppers

Crimestoppers Trust is the national charity behind the Crimestoppers scheme that enables members of the public to call anonymously with information about crime. The scheme is a partnership between the community, business, the police and government. Since it was founded in 1986, the charity’s major role has been to co-ordinate and publicise the scheme.

Crimestoppers is committed to the continued use of Information and Communication Technology to improve the effectiveness of its operations and the efficiency with which they are delivered. The Finance Department not long ago implemented the Dynamics GP accounting system and then transferred the support of this to M4 Systems in 2007. The system will be developed to enable staff to obtain online access to information and for Regional Treasurers to submit their financial data online.
