Dynamics GP Advanced Management edition includes comprehensive Project Accounting capability with Timesheet and Expense Management integrated with the Business Portal.

For more powerful resource management capability we have integrated Dynamics GP Project Accounting with Microsoft Project Server 2007 with the option to enter time and expense via Project Server 2007 Web Access instead of via the Business Portal.

Project Accounting

This is a powerful and flexible module which connects project activities with company financials and timelines so that projects are completed on time and within budget. Time and expenses can be tracked by Customer, Contract, Project and Category. Allows for comprehensive reporting and enquiries in respect of profitability, actual versus baseline budget or revised forecast, utilisation and realisation of projects. This module handles Time & Materials, Cost Plus and Fixed Price contracts. Accurate accounting for Profitability and Work in Progress with comprehensive revenue recognition types. Powerful billing options including cycle billing with detailed supporting billing reports. Includes Purchase Order generation, Receivings and matching to Purchase Invoices related to projects.

Time & Expense – Business Portal

Featuring seamless integration with Project Accounting, this system is very easy to use for capturing, reviewing and approving project time and expense data. Reports can be generated and disseminated via the Web for prompt, accurate customer invoicing and efficient reimbursement for out-of-pocket employee expenses.. It features entries for user, project, time, cost category expense details and billing notes. It also includes Personal Data Keeper (PDK) for use with laptops when disconnected from the internet or network, whereby data are automatically synchronised with the main project accounting database immediately upon re-connection. This module helps to reduce paperwork and increases operational efficiency.

Microsoft Office Project Server 2007

If you prefer to create budgets based upon financial information in Microsoft Project and/or you would like to use Microsoft Project Server 2007 as the entry point for actual time and expense data, we can set this integration up for you.
