SmartLists & SmartList Builder
SmartLists are very user-friendly and simple enough for users with zero IT knowledge or report writing experience to create powerful reports and lists after about 10 minutes of training. You can search records by specific criteria and save these as SmartList favourites for exporting to Excel or Word.
SmartList Builder takes SmartList functionality to an even more advanced level. With this you can create your own SmartLists completely from scratch with a greater number of options for formatting and linking to other databases.

Report List, SmartLists, and Office Excel
As of June 2008 (release of SP2), SmartList Builder includes Excel Report Writer, which is a simple tool that allows customers to create refreshable Excel reports easily based on over 200 SmartList favourites with the ability to choose multiple pieces of data and put them in the same Excel Report.

Microsoft Office Excel Reports
There are now more than 300 Microsoft Office Excel reports out-of-the-box, customisable and refreshable, giving instant access to real-time data. You can access reports anywhere via the Internet with GP 10.0 integration to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.
SQL Reporting Services
This is a core component of the GP financial system which leverages the power of SQL Server. It helps you to define and extract key data and present in an easy to analyse mode to enable accurate, strategic decision-making. Dynamics GP 10.0 ships with over 70 ready-made SQL Reporting Services reports spanning 13 modules in the system, including Receivables Management, Payables Management, HR and Payroll, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, General Ledger, Inventory and Field Service.

Analysis Cubes
A predefined library of OLAP (On Line Analytical Processing) data cubes allow you to "slice and dice" valuable data held in Dynamics GP by any dimension you can imagine, such as time, product group, region, GL code, employee, department, sales, GP and so on. The plug-in to Microsoft Office Excel reduces the learning curve, allowing you to get the most out of this component really quickly. It is particularly useful for viewing sales trends and analysing customer purchasing patterns. It is also excellent for cross-company reporting. By sharing and increasing transparency of financial information via the Business Portal compliance with regulations can be distinctly improved.

Dynamics Report Writer
Dynamics GP includes over 600 ready-made reports which may be amended by the included Graphical Report Writer. This Report Writer spans all modules enabling one to create powerful reports from scratch or amend one of the hundreds of existing reports that come with the system. Flexible scheduling options are available which enables you to publish reports at any time: immediately, on a recurring basis or selectively in a variety of industry formats, including pdf and html. Integration with your e-mail system means that you can e-mail reports or documents, such as invoices, straight from your desktop.
Crystal Reports
Crystal Reports is generally recognised as one of the best general purpose report writer tools available.
It allows you to design, build and publish any type of report to present business data clearly and attractively for easier analysis and decision-making.
There are customisable templates, more than 100 formatting options and standard file formats - XML, PDF, OBDC and Others. The package includes multi-pass reporting and the ability to aggregate data from multiple sources. Full documentation is provided for using Crystal Reports with Dynamics GP.

FRx
FRx gives you a complete reporting package and understanding of financial status without having to close the books. It has a spreadsheet type interface which enables powerful Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet reports to be created in literally minutes. It effortlessly hooks into GL segments for powerful, three-dimensional divisional performance reporting.
FRx WebPort provides easy access anywhere (via Internet) to financial statements and reports in a controlled and secure fashion. Drill-Down Viewer licences are also available enabling users to drill into detail without having to purchase a full FRx Report Designer licence.
Within Dynamics GP multi-currency transactions are converted to the functional currency for that company - typically the currency in which that company operates. Quite often, however (especially for consolidation purposes), there is a need to convert this again to a reporting currency. FRx Currency Translator performs this reporting currency translation using exchange rates either from within Dynamics GP or from its own tables.

Vision
This is a third-party reporting add-on suite to Dynamics GP, which helps you generate and distribute reports using data stored in the back-end solution, irrespective of whether data are mined from a single source or from multiple sources.
