Dynamics 365 Licensing Fast Facts

·         Dynamics 365 can be licenced as a plan or an application
·         Dynamics 365 user subscriptions are per named user
·         Subscriptions are available as: Full users, offering rich interaction with the apps and data, or Team Members with light task management needs
·         Tiered pricing is available – the more users you purchase, the lower the per user cost becomes

Enterprise Edition

Available now, Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition is:
·         Optimised for > 250 users
·         Includes the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Dynamics AX products you know today
·         Has Online / On premise dual use rights – so customers don’t need to move online to move to Dynamics 365
·         There is no minimum seat count with this offering, unless you are purchasing Operations, when a 20 user minimum comes into force
·         You can purchase Enterprise edition in three ways – Plan 2, Plan 1 or as individual Apps

Business Edition

Available in the UK in Spring 2017, the Dynamics 365 Business edition is:
·         Optimised for 10 – 250 seats.  Maximum of 300 seats available
·         Cloud only licensing model – no on premise option
·         No seat minimum for Business Edition
·         Will only ship with Project Madeira (Financials) initially. Sales and Marketing will be delivered in Q2 of 2017 (Adobe Cloud based)
