Value for Money
SAP or Oracle? Not Required!
Microsoft's strategy has always been to go for volume sales. Microsoft has achieved this by investing hugely up-front to develop excellent capability, then selling this at very low prices.
This strategy has continued with Dynamics. We are now consistently winning deals for both ERP and CRM, in the
upper mid-market / enterprise space, against SAP and Oracle (including Siebel), because prospective customers comparing Dynamics GP against say SAP or Dynamics CRM against Siebel
are asking themselves, Why do we need to go through the pain of 18 months' implementation and pay literally millions of pounds when we can implement a Dynamics based system
which is just as capable, is far more flexible and can be
implemented much more quickly and at a fraction
of the cost? More and more, as Dynamics enterprise functionality has rapidly
improved, we are finding that the answer is No, they do not need to buy SAP or Oracle.
