Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is here

The launch of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is finally approaching and the specific launch timeline is now available. The new release of Dynamics CRM offers great benefits for users. Many new features and functionality are going to drive tremendous growth in every CRM business over the next year. Available both online as Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2013 and on-premises as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, this major release will deliver more personal experiences to sales, marketing and customer care professionals.

The new release gives the ability to access information on a variety of devices; introduces a new user experience that is fast and fluid, enabling access information that is most relevant to the job involved and delivers richer contextual information that gives deeper insights into your customers and their needs.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 also offers enhanced social collaboration capabilities, so users can connect with the right people and the right resources, at the right time, and react to customer’s questions and problems.


Always there for Customers

Existing CRM 2011 licenses will be upgraded to the new Professional license, so users will benefit from the new capabilities of CRM release in autumn 2013. This renewal price point will be effective through the next expiration date and will cover any Professional users until then. This renewal offer is valid from October 1 to January 31. New Support Plans

With the release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, Microsoft is also offering new support options to fit the varying needs of your customers. In addition, effective October 1st, 2013, Microsoft Dynamics CRM is adding a new benefit to Software Assurance (SA) — Implementing SQL Server Deployment Planning Services (SSDPS) for Microsoft Dynamics CRM helping qualified partners work with Dynamics CRM customers to create custom implementation plans.


Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs available for purchase on October 8, 2013

The general availability of SKUs for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 is now scheduled on October 8, 2013. The following SKUs will be available for purchase on this date (Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs):

      1. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Professional
      2. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Basic
      3. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Essential
      4. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Non-production instance add-on

Customers can either purchase Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription offers on Microsoft Online Portal (MOP) or place orders for Volume licensing (VL) SKUs through channel partners on or after October 8, 2013.


Notes for Existing Customers:

  • While the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs will be visible on October 2013 price lists, these licenses cannot be transacted on Volume licensing agreements before the service availability date. Any order that includes the above Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs and submitted before October 8, 2013 will be rejected at order processing.

  • Even when the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs are displayed on the price list on October 1, 2013, customers purchasing licenses before October 8, 2013 will receive functionality corresponding to Microsoft Dynamics CRM December 2012 service update. These customers should upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 service update using the Customer Driven Upgrade (CDU) process. Customers need to upgrade before being able to purchase the SKU’s aforementioned.

  • If you have previously submitted a VL order (between October 1, 2013 and October 7, 2013) with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs, remove the SKU(s) and re-submit the order.


Notes for New Customers

  • Advise new customers interested in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 service update functionality to place the orders on or after October 8, 2013.

  • To avoid processing delays with purchases, avoid inclusion of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs on VL orders submitted before October 8, 2013.

  • If you have previously submitted a VL order (between October 1, 2013 and October 7, 2013) with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Autumn 2013 SKUs, remove the SKU(s) and re-submit the order.


Notice of Availability and Pre-release use rights:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM On Premises 2013 is expected to be available for download on Volume Licensing Service Centre (VLSC) later in October/November 2013. New and existing customers who place orders after October 1st but before Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is available in VLSC will be able to run Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 but will be able to download CRM 2013 On Premises later in October/November 2013.
