Microsoft have released a range of free add-on modules (or CRM Accelerators) to extend the marketing, sales and service capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  These have been architected to work with both Outlook and Web Browser clients and are quick and easy to deploy:
  

Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Portal

 
The Partner Relationship Management portal (PRM) allows businesses to use Microsoft CRM 2011 to distribute sales leads and manage sales opportunities across channel partners via a centralised Web portal. It provides pre-built extensions to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales force automation functionality, including new data entities, workflow and reports. Using the PRM Accelerator, companies can jointly manage sales processes with their channel partners through a centralized Web portal, as well as extend this integration to automate additional business processes.

The accelerator installation package contains all source code, customizations, workflows and documentation.
The Partner Relationship Management Portal for Microsoft Dynamics CRM will work with all deployment models for Microsoft Dynamics CRM including on-premise, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and partner - hosted.
 
Customers can also choose whether they wish to deploy their portal on their own web servers or in the cloud with Windows Azure.
 

Customer Portal

 
The Customer Portal for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 provides businesses with the ability to deliver portal capabilities to their customers while tracking and managing these interactions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Functionality includes lead generation, service scheduling, case management, event calendar, product registration, self-help knowledge base and content management. Customers can turn this functionality on or off depending on their specific requirements. Note, this solution includes all functionality from the Portal Integration, eService and Event Management accelerators.
 
The installation package contains all source code, customizations, workflows and documentation.

The Customer Care Accelerator for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 delivers contact centre functionality by combining, displaying, and manipulating data elements from disparate line of business applications in a single user interface.

  • Integrated desktop: Customers can aggregate information from diverse business applications into an integrated desktop providing employees with a 360° view of the customer interactions.   • Eliminating Duplicate Data Entry: Organizations can streamline business processes by creating desktop automation workflows. The accelerator has modified the corporate version of CRM to include objects such as “Donations” and relationships to “Members”. The Solution can be modified to suit most non-profit business needs through customization.
 
Examples of additional functionality include client and service data management, case management, group activity scheduling, volunteer management and more.
This solutions works with both Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online as well as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 On-Premises.
